Eye That Speaks

The eyes are the windows to your soul.” – William Shakespeare

An eye can tell a thousand stories. No words written, yet understood. It holds great adventures others cannot see but the holder. When no words to utter but in the eye it spoke of pain and happiness.

Have you ever experienced having an eye contact and it feels like in the movies? Having a deep connection just by looking into someone’s eyes? But what exactly do we see when we gaze into the eyes of another person? They say eyes don’t lie, they show truth, no matter how hard we try to hide the face we put on.  Is this true? I do agree though.  Emotional expressive changes around the eye influence how we see, and in turn, this communicates to others how we think and feel. I once looked at an eye who finds joy, an eye full of despair and an eye of guilt. We can tell who smiles genuinely (Duchenne smile)  from fake a smile by looking into the person’s eyes.  Through the eyes you  learn to understand and think how the person feels without any verbal communication.
